Website Traffic is not always Equal

We all know that we have to get website traffic to flourish in the internet marketing business.  How we get website traffic and from where the traffic comes are the two most important factors to help your business grow.  Most people just go out and advertise, but they do not know where their traffic is coming from or which advertisement is working.  That is why it is important to document where your traffic comes from and which ad worked best.

Knowing which Website your Website Traffic is being directed from

There is a way to tell which website is sending my website traffic and even which ad is working.  It took me a long time to figure out if I know which ad is working and which site is sending me visitors.  I then worked on those websites and ads to generate more business.  There is software out there like link bomber that will help with this.

Checking your website in all browsers to ensure Website Traffic

You must check out your website in all browsers not just IE and Firefox, check out safari and the other internet browsers to make sure your website is clearly visible.  The website traffic that is being sent will stay and read if your page loads quickly and is a clean page.

The next thing you need to do is advertise your webpage.  Use free advertising, co-op advertising, paid for solo ads, free solo ads etc.  There are many ways to get it. I usually start out with free solo ads so I can test them before I put money into an ad.  You will want to make sure the ad is a good viable ad.  The next thing I do is check out my options of which site will help me get quality website traffic.  I check out blogs and posts of people whom I admire and respect in the internet marketing world.  I also have set up blogs to help get more people to my site.   There are many sites that you can use just Google free solo ads, paid solo ads and see all the sites you can set up and send out your ads. 

Have website traffic but no sales

You will need to check out your ad and see if you are giving them a “call to action” like join now, for the next four hours etc.  Let the website traffic know that they need your product and they need to sign up.  Also if your site is saying sign up now but there is not enough information for them to want to sign up, you will have to determine how to make it urgent for them to get more information.

When looking at your advertising also make sure there are signups for an advertisement before spending money on that ad.  If no one signed up on a free ad, usually no one will sign up on a paid ad either.  You need to know if this ad is surefire working before paying for the ad.

So You Want to Find the Ideal Network Marketing Company

There are many ways to find the ideal network marketing company.  First you will need to find a niche (something that interests you or something you are an expert in).  You can do this by doing a Google search for the niche.  Example:  I love coffee.  I want to market coffee.  I would then search for a Coffee Network Marketing.  There are a couple of them out there so I would research the companies and their marketing plan.  Making sure I can make money without a big outlay of money monthly.

You can also browse the business opportunity section of the newspaper.  Most newspapers are online now and you can browse through those websites.  There is also a place called NPros.com where they list Network Marketing Companies. 

How to pick a top Network Marketing Guru

Okay you now have picked out a niche, found a network market company for that niche. Before you join try to do some research on a Network Marketing guru in that company who has a lot of experience and knows the business inside and out.  You can do this by searching for a blog about that Network Market Company or sometimes a You tube video will come up.  Start researching those people who advertise that company.  If you find one that has an impressive history then by all means join under them.  

Some people do their search backwards.  Find a Network Marketing guru then join under the guru whatever he/she is marketing.  This might be a bit awkward if you do not know anything about the Network Marketing Company you have joined. 

You Found the Right Guru and the Right Niche in Network Marketing

Now that you have found all the pieces to a Network Marketing Business, you will need to work hard, stay positive and achieve results.  Remember these home basedbusinesses require time.  Devote a lot of time learning from your mentor and building your business.  Have fun and most businesses are not get rich quick, they require time and energy to obtain the goal you have set for yourself. 

Don’t be afraid to question the guru and keep them informed of how you are doing.  They know the ins and outs of the business and can quickly set you straight and help you grow your business.  There are many ways to make your business grow the guru is the key to give you his/her experience and expertise in this network marketing.

Your MLM is Taking your Money Monthly Instead of Paying You

          Many MLM companies have a great philosophy, buy the product and get people into the business that want to buy the product.  Keep building your downline and you will prosper.  That is a great strategy; it is a winning combination of getting your products for free and making money on the side. 

MLM Marketing versus Product Marketing

          The problem has been that instead of selling the product, we are selling the idea of getting into MLM and the product is now a benefit of the MLM Company.  The product is what we are selling not the business.  Sure we want others to join the business but you want customers to make the profit.  You need a balance of customers and business builders to even out the growth of your business.

Why Market a Product in the MLM Business

          Think about it, if you market a product that is solid and performs like no other product on the market people will try it and buy it.  Some people want to buy the product and use it but not market it to others.  They don’t want to make money or get free product, they just love the product.  If you sell the product, you will make a profit guaranteed because all MLM’s give bonuses on volume.  If your volume grows, so does your profit.  Just like a store if they sell more of one type of goods, they get more goods or a discount on that product because they are buying in volume.  If the MLM you are involved with does not have a plan for volume of sales, go find a MLM that has a good plan that includes volume of sales and market it like there is no tomorrow.  If you believe in the product, you can sell the product.  (I know selling product is not what you want to do but believe me if you sell the product, fellow marketers will join you in your endeavor).

MLM Business Stability

          The stability of your MLM business is your goal.  Opportunity seekers will come and go, which will lead to a rocking of your business from week to week and month to month.  You want a stable business that will continue to grow.  Focus on the product and how good it is not the business and how people can make money.  The product is what you use and can attest to.  The business is the vessel that gets you to an income. 

          Being in the MLM industry for a while now, I know that I am not a sales person for a business opportunity, but selling a product that is good takes time to build a customer database but once you build it, they will purchase the products for years to come and just like a store sales are up and down depending on the seasons.  Do not get discouraged become encouraged that you will make money selling a quality product.

Strategy for MLM Marketing: Article Marketing Content

One way to promote your online business is to use articlemarketing.  Every marketer should utilize this system to promote their business online.  There are a lot of great writers out there that can help you with content or if you are a great writer you are on your way to success.  You will need to write content that is exciting and interesting enough for people to follow you on a consistent basis.  Do not worry if you are not a writer because there are many places to get articles to post.

Original Content, A Strategy for MLM Marketing

People who have been in this industry for a while have plenty of experience so they rely a lot on original content.  They have the background to write original content.  Original content is the number one strategy for MLM Marketing.  When they write original content they make sure it is new and not seen on the net before.  Why you might ask?  Search engines love original content so people will be compelled to read your articles and thus build a list of people to read your content.

Content that has been Rewritten:  A Strategy used by MLM Marketing

This is not to copy original content but to take what they write, put your own unique writing style to use, your point of view on the subject and make a new article similar to the one you read.  You might get someone’s attention that the original article did not and thus move your MLM Marketing business forward.

Reviews:  A Strategy for Marketing MLM

This one is easy because most of it is written for you.  Go to the website you are reviewing and a lot of information about that particular business is there.  You probably know someone who was in that business and thus have information that might help others.  Do not be too critical and be careful because you are not an expert on the subject and could get into trouble later.  Remember what is written can never be erased on the web.  Someone will have a copy.  So the problem is that you must be neutral (just the facts) as there are people out there who might review you!

When you do a review remember you can use an interview of an industry leader or marketer that will get their name and business out there as well as you are now linked to that person and achieve instant name association.  Also when you interview those people please remember that the information they give you will be beneficial to not only you but to the subscribers or readers of your article.

Lastly please be careful of article rewriting software.  You must read them and make sure they make sense.  There are so many articles that are rewritten that do not make any sense and no one wants to follow someone whose article is not clearly written. 

So go out and write articles to generate leads for your online business!

MLM

MLM are the initials for Multilevel Marketing in which there are multiple levels of earning money.  Sounds great huh?  There are catches to these.  Some are unilevel and some are multilevel.  Unilevel MLM means that you get paid on the sales to make to others whether they join you in the business or buy the product.  Multilevel MLM means you can get paid on those below you as well as those below them.  The problem comes in when they limit how much you can earn by your buy in price or your sales.  Most of the time when you join an MLM you are asked to join at a certain level.  If you are just beginning and they say oh you can join for $25 but to get any residual income you must join for a larger amount (be careful).  Some of the MLM marketing sites want you to join at a higher level but you must also get a lot of people under you to get paid.

MLM Friends and Family

A lot of MLM’s teach you to first contact your family and friends.  If you do not have a lot of family and friends that want to join you then you are limited.  You are looking online for a business beware of these sites unless you want to meet people in their homes, home parties, dinner parties etc to show them your business.  This is okay for those that like those kind of business ventures.

MLM Online Only

There are some online MLM businesses that require no charge to join but you will need to gather the information as there has to be someone or some business paying you.  Nothing is for free.  If you are interested in a free online business, check out what I have been doing that is free but you do have to give some time and do the work.

MLM For You

Is there an MLM for you out there?  Sure, but you will need to be careful and talk to others, check out blogs and posts regarding the MLM you are looking to join. You can check out the MLM I am involved with.
